Welcome to my world!

I'm an author and life designer with a particular passion for inspiring women to live unapologetically on their own terms, feel comfortable in their own skin and dare to embrace all the good things in life.

I'm a freelance writer, photographer and travel enthusiast, who early in life developed a passion for everything creative and everything French. As a child I was all about singing, acting and being creative in every way I could think of. However, when I became a teenager I kind of felt that those things weren't really accepted by my peers to pursue as a career, so I started to focus more on what I thought was expected of me: Get a "real" education and find an "acceptable" job, get married and start a family.

But of course: My creative personality didn't just go away.
I've always been interested in learning new things, diving into books, music, arts & crafts, languages, nature, tennis, food & beverage, healthy lifestyle (nutrition/exercise...), gardening, basket weaving, interior design & architecture, photography, films, mysteries, board games, fashion, beauty ... I've always enjoyed quiz shows, talk shows, operettas, ballet, - and having good conversations with family and friends about all kinds of subjects is something that really makes me tick.

After many years in corporate jobs, I realized that that was not the right kind of work for me. I need to be free, and I need diversity. I can't just do one particular thing day in and day out for months or years on end.
And I want to be my own boss and make my own schedule. I want to work where and when I want and with who I want. And I want to inspire and help other women to do the same.

I want to INSPIRE and share what I know and have learned, and create a community where we all share our passions for everything good in life.

I also strongly believe that AGE IS JUST A NUMBER, and that it's never too late to dream another dream or live your life the way you truly want to. And I believe that all women are beautiful, no matter our age or size. We just need to be confident and comfortable with who we are and learn to make the most of what we've already got. And if we make good choices and make sure we take care of ourselves in every possible way, physically and mentally, we can live a very good life at any age.

I really enjoy working with what I've got, and I try to get regular exercise in a way that I find pleasing, and I love to find new ways to wear my clothes and enhance my best features, AND I love shooting pictures of the result.

As part of my own good life, I love to write, take photos, shoot videos and be creative in every possible way. But I'm particularily passionate about finding ways to enhance the way I show up in this world, study etiquette and elegance and personal branding.

I also love to travel and learn about other cultures and places, and because of this, I've published 2 issues of the magazine The Passionate Globetrotter and created a separate travel blog / website (and also an Instagram account) with the same name.

I'm the founder of EKN - Else Kosberg Network and The Female Life Designer Channel (both currently being updated), and I'm also the author of an upcoming book.

Furthermore, I'm an educated interior designer / stylist / consultant, lover of plants, kitchen-gardens, books, films, food, lover of animals (dogs and horses in particular), playing games (board-games, darts, pool, quizes, some computer games ... ), practising tennis when I can, solving crossword puzzles ... in short: I try to make room for all good things in my life. My many passions and interests are also part of what I want to share with you in various ways, and my hope is to inspire and motivate you to live your life to the fullest, too.

I'm also a freelance photographer who likes to shoot pictures of everything good in life and also share souvenirs from my travels. You can buy some of my photographs as stock photos, canvases or prints through my Picfair web-store . New photos will be added continuosly.

I enjoy my café au lait, have a love for vanilla, and most of all I'm proud of being the mother of two wonderful grown-up children!

I live in Norway, but I'm constantly dreaming of my next trip to Paris and Provence, but also other places in the world. While planning my next trips abroad, I try to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings where I live. I enjoy going on daily walks in the area, both to get some exercise and to take photos.
