WHAT DOES "A GOOD LIFE" MEAN TO YOU?
We all have our own definition of what a good life is, so it's very possible that your definition differs from mine. But if my definition of a good life resonates with you, I welcome you with all my heart to dive into my universe.
To me, a good life is synonymous with the French Lifestyle and Academia Aesthetics. It means savoring the moments. It means living slowly and living a sustainable lifestyle, where taking care of the environment and repurposing things is a great part of it. It means living an "old school" life-style - a classic lifestyle strongly influenced by Academia Aesthetics. I grew up that way, surrounded by books, classical music, intellectual conversations and discussions, arts & crafts, science, architecture, photography, films ... To me, a good life means making room for all the things that really matter to me and getting rid of the things that don't. It means living with intention and doing what I love. Exploring new things. Learning and growing every day. To have time for my family and friends, and stop rushing around doing things just because other people expect me to. It means building good relationships with other people, Enjoying good food without feeling guilty about it, but also making exercise a natural part of my daily activities and not just some strict work-out regime that I follow out of duty and not because I enjoy it.
And last, but not least: A good life to me means having complete time- and money freedom, and to do work that I love and that I'm passionate about. Be able to work when and where I like. Use all sides of me. That's why I just LOVE being a writer/blogger/photographer/inspirator/creator/...
I always seek to improve my life. Learn and grow in every way I can. I still have goals I haven't yet achieved, and I guess that's the way it will always be - and quite frankly I think it always should be. Because reaching one goal often means that you set a new one. And I love how that fills my life with meaning every single day.
But right here, right now, it's all about YOU.
