day 9 - three activity options ...
Yoohoo! You've completed 3/4 of the challenge! Congratulations!
Today's challenge has 3 optional activities to choose from, since the first option requires some equipment and preferrably a partner to do it with.
Option 1: Play tennis or badminton!
Not all of you have a tennis court in your neighborhood or even a racket
(and the same goes for badminton). You might not have someone to partner up with, either.
But if you do at least have a tennis racket and you can find a big wall nearby,
you could very well play tennis on your own.
Smash the ball hard against the wall so you must run quickly back and forth to catch it.
This is good exercise, I promise you! And personally, I think it's great fun, too!
If you've never played tennis, start slowly and then increase the speed when you get the hang of it.
Maybe you'll find it so fun that you'll want to do more of it later!
Option 2: Do some gardening
Working in your garden is great exercise!
So if you have one, I'm sure there are plenty of tasks that need to be done,
like mowing the lawn, creating a kitchen-garden, weeding, moving and
repotting plants, and much more.
Even if you have an electric lawn-mower or one that runs on gasoline,
you still have to push it a little and walk around the garden with it.
So do some gardening today and get some great exercise at the same time!
If you can't play tennis or badminton and you don't have a garden,
taking a brisk walk is a good alternative.
Option 3: Go for a brisk walk
- and I mean brisk! :)
Even if it's only for 10-15 minutes, it will be good exercise and good for YOU!
Good luck, and have fun with it!
