day 4 - walk to the grocery shop or local market
Hello again! Welcome to Day 4!
You can be proud of yourself!
Doesn't it feel good to move your body more?
Here's what I want you to do today:
Walk to the grocery shop or local market
(or wherever you're planning to go today).
The point is that we often just go in our car when we're going to the shop,
the market, the library or whatever errand we have,
simply out of habit.
Especially when we're going to the grocery store, because we think we won't be able to
carry the groceries back home (or we use it as an excuse).
Here's what you can do to avoid that excuse from now on:
1. Plan your shopping so you don't buy more than you can carry.
2. Bring a small backpack with you for the heaviest things, or
3. Bring a trolley bag with you.
If you haven't planned to go to the grocery shop today:
Walk the distance anyway, just for the exercise!
Then you'll also know how that feels and how long it takes,
when you're actually going shopping some other day.
