DAY 12 - Exercise while watching TV or Netflix
Yohoo! You've made it through to the
LAST DAY of the challenge!
Congratulations! Well done!
You can be really proud of yourself!
I really hope you have found it both valuable and fun,
and that it's been a kick-start for you to continue moving your body more in the future.
It will give you a healthier life,
and also make you feel so much energetic and alive in the long run.
Here's your very last activity challenge for now:
Exercise while watching TV or Netflix.
Instead of just sitting or lying passively on the couch while you're watching TV or a movie,
do some exercises!
Here are some suggestions:
(you can do as many or as few of them as you want)
10 leg lifts
(for as long as you can)
I'm sure you can come up with more ideas yourself, so let me just leave it at that.
A fun variation of this can be the following:
If you regularly watch a drama series where there are certains things that get repeated
in every episode, like if you're watching Grey's Anatomy and they speak about certain things
all the time, for example "blood pressure", "surgery", "trauma", "stomach" ...
(you get the picture):
Let those words be triggers for specific exercises that you must do.
For example: Every time someone says the word "blood pressure", you must do 10 squats.
Every time someone says the word "trauma", you must do a wall-sit.
Every time someone says the word "surgery", you must do 10 leg lifts.
And so on. :)
These ideas came from my daughter, and I thought they were so great that I
decided to share them with you!
Well, time to wind it up...!
The activities we've engaged in during these 12 days
were just meant to kick-start you
in the direction of a healthier and more intentional life,
without stressing yourself out with hard work-out regimes,
but rather making the most out of your daily activities,
the things you probably do anyway.
There are so many more things you could do to get more activity into your days,
like horseback-riding, swimming, playing squash, bowling, golf ...
It doesn't have to get boring!
But make it easy for yourself.
Choose some activity that you think you'll stick to.
That's my best advice.
