DAY 1 - Go for a brisk walk in the neighborhood
Yoohoo! We're ready to go!
Welcome to the challenge!
First of all: Remember that this challenge is all about getting you to move your body more,
and it's supposed to be both doable and fun!
I think it's important to develop a positive body image, no matter what size or shape you are
right now, and stop following the trends. But of course: If your aim is to lose some weight and
get a more toned body, that's great!
No matter what your goal is, this challenge
is a good start!
So let's kick this off!
Each day will have a new activity, and some will even have options to choose from.
It's up to you to decide at what time of the day it's best for you to do the activity.
A good thing to do every morning, though, is to get into the habit of stretching your body
when you wake up, before you get out of bed.
Here's your Day 1 Activity:
Go for a brisk walk in the neighborhood.
You could also walk to your workplace (if possible).
If you have a longer commute,
an idea can be to park further away,
or get off at an earlier bus- or train-stop and walk the rest of the distance.
If you prefer to do the walk when you're back home after work, that's great!
Try to make it a brisk walk, so you get your blood pumping a little, but don't exhaust yourself.
Remember: This is supposed to be fun, and some walking is better than none!
