Hi, I'm Else Kosberg, also known as The Female Life Designer. I don't like to call myself a coach, but prefer to use the term life designer, since creating my own life by design and helping other women do the same, is a big part of what I do.
I've always been more of an artist than a teacher and coach. I love to write, take photos, shoot videos and be creative in every possible way (singing, acting, modeling are just a few of the things I love to do).
I love to travel and learn about other cultures and places, and share my experiences on my YouTube channels FLDC (Female Life Designer Channel) and EKN (Else Kosberg Network), and on my travel blog The Passionate Globetrotter (which is also the name of a travel magazine I sometimes publish).
I also create events like retreats and group travels, but due to the current pandemic situation all over the world, my events have to be put on the back-burner for a while.
My main mission in life is to inspire, motivate and empower other women and girls to live their life in freedom, at their fullest potential, without apologizing to anyone for who they are.
I'm passionate about communicating to you and other women and girls how wonderful you all are, and show you how you can create your own life just the way you want it.
I'm currently working on an upcoming book about how you can start living your life with intention - the French way.
I've been especially drawn to the French lifestyle and everything French all my life. I've found that it's totally in alignment with who I am and with how I want to live my life: With intention. I want to live the good life - La Vie Adorable.
There was I period in my life, however, when I did NOT follow that lifestyle, due to various circumstances. And as the years went by, I felt more and more bad about myself and the way I had become.
So I can totally relate to the way you're feeling right now. Or how I think you're feeling.
This is for you if ....
- You feel overwhelmed. You need to finally get a break from all the stress and start living your life
unapologetically on your own terms. You need to start living with intention.
- You want to find a way to make your life easier, simpler, more intentional, but you don't know how
to make that happen.
- You're tired of feeling like you're living your life on other people's terms, of being a people-pleaser
and running from one task to another, day in and day out.
- You're tired of not feeling good enough, pretty enough, smart enough, worthy enough.
- You're tired of never having enough money, of living paycheck to paycheck and being in debt.
- You need inspiration and motivation.
- You want to learn about the French lifestyle and read about all things French.
That's where I come in.
I spent many years the way I've just described. Feeling overwhelmed and stressed out. Feeling like I was living my life on other people's terms, rather than my own. Feeling like I wasn't smart enough, pretty enough, talented enough, worthy enough to live the life I really wanted. Living pay-check to pay-check. Being in debt.
But then I realized I couldn't go on living that way, because it made me ill.
Something had to change.
I had to change.
So I did.
I started to search for solutions, and I found a few, but they didn't work for me.
It wasn't until I started to think back ... think back on what had been the best years of my life when it came to health, energy, good friendships ... all the things I consider to be necessery in order to live a good life...
And that's when I had my epiphany:
I had to go back to the kind of lifestyle I had in my twenties. I had to go back to living the French way!
Of course! It was really very simple!
So I started to make changes. I started to live The French Way again.
And it's been transformational for me!
It's been a long and winding road, and just like you, I still have a few things I want to change in my life. But I'm getting closer and closer to living my life in accordance with who I am and what I really want.
I'm on a wonderful journey which might never really end, but that's fine. Reaching goals often means setting new ones, and that's what makes life so exciting, isn't it? And I'm happy to say that I have reached quite a few of my goals, and I would like to help you reach yours, too.
Maybe you're struggling to keep your head above water, physically, mentally and financially, so reaching any of your goals might seem rather impossible for you right now.
I get it. I've been there! And it's not that long ago, either. But if I can change my life for the better, so can you.
I've been working as a coach for the last decade or so, mainly as an employee for someone else. But about 5 years ago I decided to start offering my own services online, and I've been continuosly working on it ever since. I've been trying to find ways to get through to you and make an impact in yours and other women's lives.
In the beginning I had a hard time finding my way of doing things. It was hard to find a way that gave meaning and pleasure to me, so for a long time I felt that I didn't really get anywhere. I just did what "everybody else" was doing, and I thought that was how it had to be.
But I realized that if I'm going to do this for many years to come, maybe for the rest of my life, then it has to be a joy to do it, and I have to do it in a way that feels natural to me.
One of those things is writing a book.
I want to reach as many women and girls as possible with my message about how you can get rid of stress and overwhelm once and for all and start living the life you truly want and deserve - start living with intention, the French way.
More than anything else, it's about how you can get rid of your feelings of shame and unworthiness, of not being good enough or deserving enough, not smart or talented enough to have that life of your dreams.
That's what my book is about.
I'll be giving away 50 FREE copies of the book once it's published, and you have the chance to get one of them, so if you want that, you need to hurry up and sign up for it today!
Until you get the book, I suggest that you check out my blog and the other resources that I have created for you. You'll find many tips here on my website on how you can start living with intention right now.
If you want to take it further and work with me, I can offer you my life-long experience of trying and failing, all the knowledge I've gained about how to live with intention, and many great tools that will enable you to live what I like to call La Vie Adorable.
I'll share with you everything I've learned along the way that has really worked for me and also for the people I've helped over the years.
I've lived a long life already (I'm 59 as I'm writing this), and I've been through a lot. For example:
- I've been diagnosed with Post Concussion Syndrome (which you can read an article about on my
- I've been a creative child who had a dream of becoming an actress, singer and author...
- I've been a shy teenager, still with the same dreams that I had as a child, but learning to hide them...
- I've been a student and know what it's like to be both accomplished and a "failure"...
- I've had many different jobs, so I know a thing or two about many different things...
- I've been married...
- I've raised kids...
- I've had my own physical / "brick and mortar" business (twice)...
- I've been through the grief of losing people I loved (like my best friend who was murdered, another
dear friend who died in a car crash, parents and relatives who have died ...).
- I've been through a divorce...
- I've struggled with money ...
- I've been unemployed ... and
- I've struggled with health issues (like PCS (Post Concussion Syndrome) which I mentioned above).
I could go on and on.
That was just me scratching the surface, but I'm sure you get an idea about what kind of experiences I've had in my life and why I can probably relate to some of what you might be going through, or some of what you've experienced in your life.
We're in this together, and I'll be more than happy to share my journey with you, good things and bad, - mind you: without focusing on the past too much, but using it as a way of learning how to handle the here and now and to start making things better for ourselves.
What I think is particularly important to remember is, that your past does not define you. Your health issues do not define you. You're so much more than that! And you're here and now, and you need to find your way back to YOU. You need to make a new start and a better life for yourself. That's what I'd like to help you with.
But more that anything, what is really important to me, is that I want you to understand that you MUST be YOU. If you're living your life according to someone else's rules, or try to copy what someone else is doing, or try to please everybody else before taking care of YOU, - then you need to STOP that right now, because it's not good for you.
I know you probably find it hard sometimes to show your true self to other people, even to the people closest to you (family, friends, a partner...), - in fact: especially to the ones closest to you, - because there'll always be a certain expectancy from people around you that you need to "fit in".
And you might even find it hard to show your true self to yourself! Maybe you have a long history of doubting yourself and not feeling good enough or worthy of having all the things that you want.
Like I said earlier: I can relate!
But I finally realized that I need to be ME, and that I have a responsibility to myself (and to everyone else) to be all that I can be, and to SHOW it to the world.
So that's what I'm trying to do, - with my blog, with all my creative activities, my writing projects, my broadcasts, my online programs and my events.
So here I am, trying to share my True Self with you, and in that way (hopefully) inspire you to be Your True Self, - flaws and all. We all have flaws, but they're what makes us human AND unique. Nothing to be ashamed of!
SO .... my dear friend:
